Healing through music: Concert featuring local musicians
to honor life and memory of Paulie Heenan
Friends and family of the late Paulie Heenan will host a two-day music festival, dubbed Paulie Fest, to celebrate Paulie’s life and honor his memory. The festival is scheduled for Friday, May 31 and Saturday, June 1st at the High Noon Saloon, starting at 7:00 p.m. each evening. Paulie Fest will feature performances by local and regional musicians who shared a connection with Paulie as bandmates, engineers, coworkers and friends. The event is an opportunity for those who knew Paulie and the broader community to come together through music.
Friday night’s line-up includes:
• Oregon High School Jazz Combos
• Beyond Reason
• Mojo Radio
• Hometown Sweethearts
Guests scheduled for Saturday night include:
• Cowboy Winter
• Lorenzo’s Music
• All Tiny Creatures
• Solid Gold
Tickets cost $10 in advance/$15 at the door per evening, and are available for advance purchase at the High Noon Saloon and online at http://www.high-noon.com/.
Paulie Fest merchandise will be available for purchase, and a silent auction is scheduled for Saturday. All proceeds from the silent auction along with a minimum of $1000 from merchandise and ticket sales will go to The Fender Music Foundation, which provides instruments to school music classrooms, after school programs and music therapy programs. Businesses interested in donating to the silent auction should contact Heidi Kramer at firstname.lastname@example.org.
